📘 Exam Creation & Attempt Guide – Exam Frame
This guide explains how to prepare an exam, link question bank, assign it to students, and how students can attempt it.
🧱 STEP 1: Understand the Structure
👉 Exam Frame ka core flow yeh hai:

Group (e.g. SSC 2025)

→ Subject (e.g. Mathematics)
-
→ Topic (e.g. Number System)
-
→ Sub Topic (e.g. Whole Numbers)
-
→ Questions (stored in bank)
-
→ Exams (created using these questions)
-
→ Students (added in group, then appear in exams)
✍️ STEP 2: Build Your Question Bank
🔹 Go to Admin > Subjects / Topics / Subtopics

Create the subject → Add topic → Add sub topic
🔹 Then go to Admin > Questions
-
Choose subject, topic, subtopic
-
Select question type:

MCQ
-
Fill in the Blanks
-
True/False
-
Subjective
-
-
Add marks, options, correct answer, explanation, hint

Click Save
📦 Note: All these questions go to your Question Bank and stay reusable.
🧪 STEP 3: Create Exam
🔹 Go to Admin > Exams > Add New
📝 Fill in the exam details:

Exam Name
-
Start & End Date
-
Duration (minutes)

Passing Percentage
-
Attempt Limit
-
Exam Mode:
Exam
orPreparation
🧠 Features:

🔗 Link Questions from Bank
Once the exam is created:
-
Go to Exam → Add Questions
-
Filter by subject/topic or question type
-
Select questions from bank
-
Save to attach with this exam
👨🎓 STEP 4: Assign Exam to Students

Go to Admin > Groups and create a group (like SSC 2025)

Assign students to group from Admin > Students
-
Assign the exam to the group from Exam > Assign Group
✅ Now students in that group will see the exam in their dashboard.
🧑💻 STEP 5: How Student Will Attempt

Student logs in to frontend
-
Clicks on "My Exams"
-
Sees assigned exam
-
Clicks Start Exam
-
Timer starts, one-by-one questions shown
-
At the end → submit & get result (based on settings)

You can create Free or Paid exams by linking them to Packages

For each Exam → you can assign:

Attempt rules

Subject wise time (if enabled)

🔒 Common Mistakes to Avoid
❌ Exam created but not assigned to any group
❌ Students not added in group
❌ Questions not added to the exam
❌ Exam start date/time is future
