Migration within Server

If you are changing the folder name from yourdomain.com to yourdomain.com/exam you can follow the steps below

1. Backup all the files
2. Move the file to new locations (eg. yourdomain.com to yourdomain.com/exam)
3. Go to Admin – Configuration – Domain (update your new url )
4. Done

Migration to New Server with DB Credentials Changes

If you are changing the domain name from yourdomain.com to mydomain.com/ you can follow the steps below

1. Backup all the files
2. Move the file to new locations (eg. yourdomain.com to mydomain.com)
3. Go to Admin – Configuration – Domain (update your new url )
4. Go to Apps – Config -> Database.php and edit the new Database credentials
5. Done.
